Our approach to conducting risk assessments is based on our many years of experience in both the public safety and private security arenas. In addition, we have received specialized risk assessment training and certification by the U.S. Government in a methodology approved by the Department of Homeland Security and Department of Energy in the wake of the events of September 11th.

Our comprehensive risk assessment process works equally well for assessment of individuals, buildings, campuses of buildings, or corporations. Our first step is to meet with the client to determine the client's needs and expectations, and then build a risk assessment team that will work with the client or client's team to conduct the assessment. Once the risk assessment has been completed, depending on the client's needs, we can prepare a detailed implementation plan that contains specific actions required to mitigate the risk determined by the risk assessment.

Estate Protective Services

NEXUS CONSULTING provides professional services of the highest quality for Estates, Homes, and Gated Communities both with live-in residence and absentee owners. Services are provided to estates owned by clients and/or corporations who need more than routine alarm response and monitoring services. We provide professional comprehensive services; be it basic, very complicated, or the provision of consultations.

We offer comprehensive security services that meet the basic, the specialized, and the individualized needs of our clientele. Our function is to be a professional, one source security solution, offering a full range of integrated security services associated with Estate, Home, and Personal Protection and stand ready to seamlessly serve all your needs.

Our team will arrange and schedule for all required housing staff including cleaning, landscaping, and contractors. We will make arraignments for the same staff to be on hand on a regular basis as requested by the client. We take extensive precautions when choosing housing staff, who are required to have work ethic, be efficient, have integrity, and be discrete are essential. All housing staff and contractors are required to sign confidentiality agreements and concede to a background investigation. NCGA has the capability of conducting an extensive criminal, credit, and psychological profile of employees should the client deem it necessary or require it as part of the Estate Security plan. In most cases, with the exception of a detailed psychological profile, a background investigation can be conducted within a 72 hour period.

It is our responsibility to prevent crime and hazards to the property, client, family, or visitors through a systematic program of awareness and pro-active prevention measures. We establish positive relationships with local Law Enforcement in order to coordinate and encourage Law Enforcement to patrol the road leading to and surrounding the property on a regular basis. An equally effective deterrent to trespassers is a constant presence of the security team on the property or a systematic but random patrol. We will studiously avoid predictable routine inspection tours, arrivals, and departures. The appearance of occupancy can be achieved through timed lighting both interior and exterior and occasionally a random vehicle parked in a visible location near the house entrance.

To ensure the complete implementation of a security plan, we recommend the client invest in a total security system. In the selection of any electronic detection system the client needs to consider that both exterior and interior intrusion detection systems is integrated into the overall security program for their property. This service can be combined with patrol services, providing a marked vehicle presence. Internet based video feeds, additional surveillance systems, and modern technology can be integrated to add to the complete security plan of the Estate, Home, and client. We can co-ordinate with your current security provider in order to maximize security efforts. In the event of intrusion alarms, Special Services' security plan will offer physical response by highly qualified and trained agents. Our agents will respond immediately to all intrusion alarms regardless of whether it is a false alarm or trespass alarm. We maintain constant and reliable communication with local Law Enforcement in order to call in back up when a physical trespass has been determined.

Our agents regularly consults with local authorities on the use of firearms in the defense of a residence and will carry a weapon only if properly trained and experienced in its safe handling and use under the laws governing deadly force. Solid relationships and constant co-ordination with local law enforcement is a standard for Nexus Consulting. While absolute security guarantees are not promised or offered, no other service is as professional, as highly trained, and as capable of this level of crime prevention.
